Low Back Stretches Video

I think that it is safe to say that the most requested and problem area for people these days is lower back. As we sit for most of the day, our low backs get tight. I’ve gathered a few stretches that you can run through in 10 minutes that should help. Check out the video!

I think that it is a relaxing video. Birds chirping, a rooster crowing, bees buzzing, and oh yeah, a few shots. This is out in the country, lol! You can follow along with me or mix and match what feels best. Everything is from a grounded position, and there is only one movement that is a little spicy, no equipment needed.

Side bending is my best friend when it comes to a tight low back. Many routines have minutes of forward folds. This may or may not be helpful for you. I know that for me, and most office workers, sitting all day overstretches and weakens our hip flexors and hamstrings, putting our pelvises into anterior tilt. So for me, making that same stretch, is not what I need more of! Side bending and working on hip flexor strengthening over time is where I have found the most relief. I hope that these will help you to find some relief as well. And at 10 minutes (actually 11, but 10 sounds so much catchier!) these can be added to your daily routine.

I am still working on finding my style on YouTube, so each new video is a testing ground for all of the things! Camera, setting, length, transitions, how and why YouTube compresses things- so videos will get better moving forward.

More low back stretch and strengthening videos to come, for sure! Please watch, comment, and subscribe, as those things all help me out. 🤗
