I published my first video on YouTube!
This is not so much a flow, as a pre-yoga or pre-workout warmup. I find that if I jump right into a yoga class, it can be a bit uncomfortable on my wrists, hips, or hamstrings. So I usually do some mobility work before I start a class. Similarly with a gym workout, you don’t want to stretch too much before a workout. Studies have shown that runners, jumpers, and weightlifters couldn’t preform as well if they did a lot of stretching just prior to their workout. So here I have an under 15 minute warmup with mobility movements that I frequently use, that you are welcome to follow along with.
About the video. Here’s the thing. It isn’t the first video that I wanted to publish. XD

I recorded this routine first outside, where I feel most comfortable. The birds were chirping, the flowers were in bloom, my words were coming to me comfortably, the wind was blowing. The wind was blowing. And it was loud. So loud that you could only hear about 20% of what I said. Ah, c’este la vie, amIright?
So the video above is what I have published, because I think it is a solid routine and I intend to get myself a microphone and some better lighting in the next one. And hopefully many more to come very soon!
If you use a microphone and/or camera other than your phone for YouTube, let me know below what works well for you. Or if you have a video request, let me know.
And as always, you are in charge of you and your body. Only do movements that feel good and make sense for you. Always consult with a medical professional if you have concerns, and all of the other disclaimer and common sense stuff.

Ahh yay! Can’t wait to go check it out and subscribe!
